Blogging for Bucks
from:Blogging is big business and there is more than one way to make money from your blogging efforts. The next time you are short on cash, consider some of these alternatives for making even bigger money from your favorite blogging platform. Some of the methods you may already know about while others will come as a complete surprise. Are you ready to turn your blog into a profit making machine?
Adsense Revenue
Google is a great tool for making money online and the profits seem to be only as limited as your ambition and willingness to work hard for the money. There are many who would claim that there are ways to make more money, more easily online but Adsense remains a popular source of income for bloggers—especially beginning bloggers who are just beginning to learn the ropes. It's worth considering but definitely not a source of quick or easy cash. The long term benefits can be a steady stream of pennies coming in month after month. Keep in mind that a fair amount of pennies every month from efforts you made months ago is nothing to turn your nose up about.
Affiliate Marketing
This is the way to take your blog from one level to the next and really turn your blog into a profit making machine. In order to be successful with affiliate marketing through your blog you will need a narrowly defined and highly loved niche that gets plenty of results month after month. You stand to make a great deal of money with affiliate marketing but it will require a good deal of effort and a slightly larger learning curve than Adsense for affiliate marketing will need. Affiliate marketing also provides a wide range of versatility. You can do everything from adding affiliate codes for Amazon, to Clickbank products, and other affiliate programs that you sign up for individually.
Blogging for Pay
There are many companies that want to have blogs but lack the knowledge or creativity to create a blog that readers are going to enjoy reading day after day. This creates amazing opportunities for you to make money by blogging for them. You can often get paid on a “per post” basis or you can negotiate for a share of the revenues. Blogging for pay can also result in added exposure for you if you work out an arrangement where you get a byline for your blogging efforts in addition to the pay. Whatever arrangements you would out when blogging for pay it is a good idea to have the details ironed out before you begin so that there are no surprises or misunderstandings alone the way.
Blogging is a great way to bring in money in its own right and can be used to steer traffic towards other ventures or websites that you can use to make money. The best thing about blogging is that in many cases it costs little (if anything) to get started and offers the promise of nearly limitless income potential.
